A Christmas Carol

Why see A Christmas Carol?

A Merry Christmas yarn

Known as the Bay Area's definitive Christmas Carol, join Center Rep to celebrate the season as this production of the Charles Dickens favorite comes to life at the Lesher Center for the Arts' Hofmman Theatre. Directed by Scott Derison and choreographed by Jennifer Perry expect a festive feast full of stunning sets, period costumes, special effects and unmissable performances that come together in the timeless story of Ebeneezer Scrooge and his ghostly awakening.

What is the story?

Based on the 1842 story by Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol follows the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, maybe the meanest man in the whole of Victorian London! A real holiday Grinch and penny pincher, Ebenezer would rather Christmas didn't exist at all. But one chilly Christmas Eve, he's visited by a succession of spirits, who teach him the error of his ways and show him what Christmas cheer is really all about. A Christmas Carol is a festive must-see and is guaranteed to get you in the holiday spirit.
